I’ve been feeling rather post-modern recently. In college, I didn’t really know what that meant, even though I had to write papers about it. It’s an attitude really. It’s interesting feeling the 21st century take its shape, with global warming, health issues, the Internet. Influence, inspiration, it’s all a beautiful and horrific mish-mash. Some style inspirations are people I interact with almost daily, but have never met or live anywhere near. It’s cool. I don’t know why I’m going on about this, but it’s an underlying current in my style choices as of late. Today, I have this Victorian pin-up/Mr.Rogers/Cindy Lauper look going. The only thing holding it together is the grey, like the weather’s been for a while… I’ve decided to play it up by wearing grey colors with a little yellow slip peeking out to say hello.

love the grey/outfit….grey is kinda like the new black.
i love the outfit…(don’t take offence) but i love the discussion underneath even more…the whole postmodern and inspiration from people we interact with everyday but don’t really know is so true! that’s the wonder of blogging hehehee
