This morning I attended the Press Preview of the Nan Kempner Exhibition. Ok, this has been a super huge deal for me ever since I was invited…. I’m new at blogging and I guess not jaded. I had no idea what to wear… how other people in the media present themselves, what other people the fashion industry look like even. I wanted to emulate fabulousness, couture, fashion, and most of all play. Wasn’t quite sure how to pull that together and still maintain my own sense of style so, I found this silk jacket on sale at H&M. It’s boxy and flowy, and I just love the color. The scarf, I’ve had for almost 20 years… the other items are part of my regular wardrobe, so it worked out pretty good!
I think one of the biggest highlights of my day were meeting some fellow San Francisco fashion bloggers, Tricia from Bits and Bobbins, Natalie from Coquette, and Gabrielle from MISS Crew. I admire these women so much, and it was really great to see each other in person, and even better that they were so fun and cool. It was almost like meeting someone I already know.
Anyway, I want to give a special thanks to Natalie for taking the “today’s attire” photo… with her awesome camera that I totally covet, and to the Scottish lady who took the photo of Tricia, Natalie and I.
