Oh my god… over the holidays I was doing some shopping for my nice and nephew who are at the adorable age of 5 and 3. It was really cool to go shopping for my niece, mostly because it brought back lots of memories about what I liked as a kid. I saw this Fashion Design Studio craft kit that has all these scraps, and a little dress form, so little girls can make dresses. It reminded me of the time I spent at my grandma’s house, in her sewing room, asking for scraps I can make into dresses for my Barbies. Well, mostly they were strapless, Marge Simpson looking gowns, but Gingham World found some handmade Barbie clothes while thrifting… now, that’s taking scrap design to a whole new level.
Playing with scraps….

What a neat kit! My mom made SO many outfits for my Barbies when I was a kid. I’ve been sewing some little doll clothes lately and it’s so hard, I can’t believe some of the stuff she made. Really impressive!
sooooo awesome! why is miniature always so incredible?
