Over the weekend, I stopped by a few shoppes I haven’t been to for a while… Town School Closet and Cris, both on Polk. Town School Closet is a charity shoppe benefiting a boys school. They often have lots of higher end clothing, like this Saks Fifth Avenue silk blouse, you can’t really see in the pic, but it’s tie front with lovely front pleating. (for $22.50) One I scored a Jil Sander skirt for $15. At Cris, I picked up this Vince pleated black mini.. it has a tulle petticoat underneath to give it a little more volume. The shoes I also got on Polk Street, at Belle Cose, they are vintage. And super lovely.
I’m just showing you that shopping and creative expression doesn’t stop by placing a few limitations on your spending habits. I mean, I found all these lovely items all in my nieghborhood, and I don’t even live in one of those ‘hip’ neighborhoods. I would say ‘eclectic’ to be nice about it. Real nice. In fact, I’m super lazy about where I shop, 99% of the places are within walking distance of my home… granted San Francisco’s Union Square is 10 min from my apartment, I usually stop at places between my home and the super market or drug store. Yes, I’m that lazy.
Speaking of which, I better get back to my work!

Very cute outfit, I love the charcoal color, especially combined with blad! Your earrings also look beautiful with the outfit. I love both Belle Cose (both shops) and Cris, and I haven’t been to either in ages… I miss them!
Those shoes are amazing! What a great find!
You look so beautiful in grey!
I really love this outfit - only, I think opaque gray tights would be so much better! But that’s maybe because I have a general dislike for sheer-y tights..
