I have nothing to say, but again… After seeing Christian Louboutin’s shoes for Rodarte’s AW08 collection, Louboutin is truly an artist. These are insanely beautiful and frightening, much like the inspiration of anime horror.
Amendment: I got distracted to post this earlier… but Marimello brought it up… is anyone just LOVING the tights???? Can anyone knit me a pair? perhaps I can try to crochet one… but that might be odd.

heels schmeels i LOVE those tights! plus I am 6′. Can some one please send a memo to the fashion gods and let them know I canNOT pull off 6′6″.
6′4″ maaaaaybe…
oh my god! you are so RIGHT! i was thinking that… but lunch interrupted. stupid belly.
you can knit… can you make those kinds of tights? mmmmmm
I had the same thought about the tights when I clicked through Rodarte. So inspired by the collection! These could be made with fine yarn on huge needles and the random holes made by dropping the occasional stitch. I have a pattern for knit stockings that is similar, but done on finer needles. I’ll experiment and let you know what I come up with!!
The tights are beautiful…the shoes are stupendous!
oh wow… violet… that’s a great idea! i do hope you let me know when you’ve done it.

Ou i love a killer heel, esp when it ones that can literally kill someone.
first always love rodarte, those heels are ferocious! and i agree about those tights, those are a necessity.
the shoes are awesome, but the tights I’m guessing wouldn’t look very good outside the runway…
you could try to knit those tights, or your could just try to teach some one to knit and it would look pretty much the same.
Oh Santosuke, yee of little faith! Opaque tights + loose knit thigh highs = best layer since shiny black leggings
they are stunning! you could make them and i think the light or nude coloured pair would look lovely off the runway.
warrior heels here i come! so fashionable. greets *FLORA
oh my… i would love to see naik fur’s take on those tights!
you’re right… nude would be very cool. i want to learn how to knit…
