Since American Rag was having a sale, and it’s in my neighborhood, I stopped in, and found these Repetto mini gladiators… they are a bit unusual, but the leather was so nice and they felt so nice on my feet, they were marked down to $35, so I had to get them.
Upon getting home, I read about Repetto, it’s a Parisian company that started out making ballet shoes, using those production techniques and materials on wearable shoes is probably why these sandals felt so heavenly. I found some others on Shoefly and a pair of light grey ones on La Garconne.

I had seen a wide selection of Repetto’s over at Rabat. cute brand.
Those are great! I might have to get them too! How was their stock?… plenty?… minuscule?
Very cute.

@stef, i don’t know what american rag’s inventory is at the mo, you might want to call ahead to see if they have your size…
i know they had both black and tan in that style.
Hi Jennine! Repetto is actally one of the favorite brands of the parisian fashionistas because of their cute flat shoes! When you’re coming to Europe, if you stay some days in Paris, you’ve got to visit their original store, which is near the Opera (see photos here: http://www.linternaute.com/femmes/luxe_mode/0702-chaussures/repetto/1.shtml).
My mother-in-law bought my youngest (17-month-old) some of the most adorable Repetto tights for Christmas.
Little ballet slippers are knit into the foot area of the tights. So cute I want to make her run around with no shoes in the dead of winter.
I’m trying to picture these *on* feet and can’t, quite. Will have to look thru your outfit of the day posts to see if I like.
these look great!
