MIA launches clothing line…

With my stuff, because everything’s really bright, if you lose it or someone steals it, you can see it from miles away and you can be like, ‘Oy! Give me my shirt back!’

So what if it’s been done before, everything has been done before…. In light of all the celebrities launching lines of clothing, I have to say, most of them have great style, but few of them have as unique style as Sri Lankan musician MIA. This May she released a statement that she’s set to launch a line of clothing as unique as she is:

With my stuff, because everything’s really bright, if you lose it or someone steals it, you can see it from miles away and you can be like, ‘Oy! Give me my shirt back!’ (PSFK)

She’s fantastic, as you don’t have to really particularly be into hip hop, or R&B or whatever to enjoy her music… and she’s so cool. It’s women like MIA, Neneh Cherry, Claw Money (who launched a successful clothing line last year)and Treasure Hunter, Liz (Gotta Get the Goods) that inspire me to incorporate more urban style into my wardrobe.

only makes sense she would launch a line. plus her style is so unique there is so much room for it in the industry.
