“Our garments are our drawings, paintings and illustrations - our art. When the Belle Sauvage woman wears our garments, this art comes to life. The woman brings the canvas of art to life, without leaving the everyday streetwear functionality behind”
There is always room for something bold in my wardrobe. I say this thinking about how MIA is my hero, and how she wears bold prints like she was born in them. As nice as that is, as a mere mortal woman I often think of ways to bring the bold and the wearable together in the real world. Belle Sauvage, while not sensible in the traditional means with outrageous patterns and avant garde silhouettes, create a clothing line with a sense of comfort and wearability using stretchy cotton, jersey and leather. It’s the added trade off, the comfortable piece that makes a statement. because it’s hard to be confident in something constricting. Besides… I really like the blue leggings up top.

Love the panelled leggings!
actually i hear the black part is the legging, the blue part is tights so you can wear any color you like, or nothing at all!
that’s kinda cool..
Awesome post! I love the leggings, particularly the black ones! I adore MIA.
Oh I love bold prints too. I never realized how many bold pieces I own until I moved last year and purged my closet. I feel like walking art when I wear prints.
I was heartbroken when I lost this dress on eBay:
