In my adult life, I have always lived in cities. The hustle and bustle the street car noise. Concrete. Now, I live in a wooded neighborhood, just meters from the forest. It’s so lovely to be able to go for a run and to hear the birds chirping, to look above to the transparent green canopy. Although I miss my walks through the city… this is even more lovely.
What’s even nicer is this week, I received in the post a package from Lola is Beauty. Last month she had a giveaway on her blog, a pair of Peter Jensen canvas shoes that were a smidge too small for her. They have an adorable scale pattern, and I just fell in love. I entered, thinking I wouldn’t win (optimistic??), and lo and behold I did win! The tides are a changing for Miss Jennine, yes they are.
Well, these shoes are beauty… I’m happy to have them. Thank you Lola!
I looove this outfit. Gorgeousness!
Glad that you got the shoes, too!

darlin’… i am LOVING this outfit! love the pants, the blouse, the shoes, the scarf. the sum.
Eek! Scary snail.
OMG! I’d be happy to trade places with you or I could build a little uni-bomber type shack somewhere close by!
How beautiful! That little snail looks like he’s about to turn around and start talking to you like a character in a Jim Henson movie!
And yes indeed, those shoes are just adorable. The pattern reminds me of a Japanese woodblock print.
