I’m so not a ‘socks’ person. They either get lost, or they get holes in the toes. I guess if you were to actually fold them once they got out of the dryer, it would be fine. But the person who thinks I’m going to do that, probably never met me before. Since I was cutting up jeans, I thought it would be fun to get a little sidetracked and start cutting up my socks and tights. It dawned on me that destroying my clothes can make some pieces a little more functional.
And just as an experiment, here’s a little video of how to do it. I sound kind of spacey… but that’s just how I sound.

you’re so sweet:-)”…oh wait, there is no http://www….”
Wow, very cute and creative! My problem with socks is that I always seem to lose one of them, so maybe I should see how this would look with a mismatched pair…
I totally made some of these a few years ago out of a holey pair of men’s spiderman socks I had! I love them, especially paired with shoes that showed off the stirrup nature
I have an irrational fear of socked feet. It has something to do with how odd the toes look in a sock— I know its weird! So, cutting socks into stirrups makes everything a lot more tolerable. This may actually mean I’ll wear socks this year!
I am making sure to say hi! :-)
Cute video, love the socks. I made a video but I have no idea how to get it on my site - lol.

@ashe~ SPIDERMAN SOCKS!!!!
@chelsea rae~ you and me both.
@hailey… ooh wordpress can be painful sometimes, but if you just paste the code in ‘html view’ it should work, i think there are more ways, i just don’t know them.
Your blog’s amazing! And I really love your shoes, where did you get them?
Hahah! I am the quintessential no-socks gal. I used to dance, so I’m quite in the habit of using baby powder with shoes in place of socks. However, I LOOOOVE this idea. You’re so crafty. I’m going to try it out, and send photos…when I buy socks, that is!
I am a sock whore (although I don’t wear them if I can help it). This is such a great idea for the unfortunate ones that get holes! (frequently my faves)…so cute
LOVE the ballet/80′s vibe. great pairing of the stirrup socks with those mary jane’s. you look fabulous!
also, you should do more videos! it’s so fun to “meet you” in “real life!”
You are too cute Jennine! “You would just give them to your mom and she would sew them up..” Adorable.
I’m in love, your soooo cute it’s unbearable! I’m going to have a think about this and see if I can’t work it into a male trend.xxx
Ha! I’m so not a socks person either. This is definitely food for thought.
Very cute video - I ADORE your accent.
I love your ring too, do tell where it’s from!!
