I Love Walgreens

by Kezia on July 22, 2008

I miss seeing Jennine in the real world. Sure, she’s but a click or call (with Skype) away, but still… Without Jennine, my trips to Walgreens just aren’t the same. Our love of Walgreens was so intense that sometimes we’d net 15+ visits a week between us. As Jennine says, fondling beauty products alone just isn’t as fun!

Speaking of drugstore chains, I was exicted to see a brand new Longs right by my work shuttle stop. Until, that is, I noticed the sign-wielding picketers. My late step-father was a proud Union electrician and say what you will about unions, I’ll never cross a picket line. It’s Walgreens forever for me.

I love Walgreens, have for MANY years. Go there several times a week and never leave empty-handed. I especially love when I get a receipt with the chance to win $3,000.00. I especially especially love that I can get my kitties’ chemo meds there for less than 1/2 of what the vet place charges. p.s. where is the Walgreens in the picture located?

I love it too! I’m moving to the States in a month and I have decided that on my first day there I’ll go to a diner and get a shortstack with strawberries, butter AND whipped cream and then I’m going to Wallgreens. Oh yeah.

I wish that the Walgreens pictured in my post was in my hood. It’s in New Orleans. Isn’t it fabulous?

O! How I <3 Walgreens!! We don’t have them in London and it kills me. We have Boots, but it’s not the same.
