With all the chit chat about NYFW and LFW Tokyo Fashion week seems to have fallen between the cracks. Where support for TFW may be shaky in it’s own town, some Europeans are making a point to venture east. I for one love to take peek, as the Japanese tend to go overboard with street style and out of the box thinking when it comes to fashion design.
If you’re having a hard time keeping up with all the new shows coming in… you’re not alone. I myself, have resorted to trying all kinds of strategies to keep collections from melting together. Here is a brief recap of what happened there in story book titles…

Thanks, Jennine. I was quite surprised that absolutely nobody seemed to care much about Tokyo Fashion Week at all. It was so much fun, though!
well, thank you! i certainly enjoyed your coverage.
Great post and your faster than me - I was on my way to make a post about the Tokyo FW.
Nice, nice.
And inspiring too. For example, I have an old sleeping bag which is kinda crap, for a sleeping bag. But as a wig? It’s electric blue, too.
love the snow white sheer tights, must get something in that fabric.
Excellent breakdown! I wish Tokyo Fashion Week would get more attention.
ha! vasilla… i can imagine you would do something brilliant with a sleeping bag wig.

I like it how japanese designers go over the top with their garnments. They do put a good show on.
