Each belt on on it’s own doesn’t say much, but collectively they make a statement. I guess this principle applies to pretty much everything in life.
If one’s good, why not go for two or more? That’s been my motto, pretty much my whole life… and when it comes to getting dressed, I’ve been finding myself reaching for multiple belts. Kind of like an eclectic corset or a patched up wide belt… wearing a few belts can add a whole new realm of possibilities for the belts you might already have. Here, I’ve combined an old studded belt that looks kind of butch on it’s own with a few other belts that came with some vintage pieces I’ve picked up. Each belt on on it’s own doesn’t say much, but collectively they make a statement. I guess this principle applies to pretty much everything in life.
Here’s a detail with less layers underneath…
I’ve been thinking about multiple belts lately, too, but my belts don’t seem to get along as well as yours do! This looks great!
Love the looks you’ve been sporting lately, very runway.
@christy… i bet you have a good combo, just have a feeling.
@hailey, thanks so much!
Seriously, I love this idea.
I know I already commented on your w_r photo, but I can’t get over the belts. Too cool.
This is absolutely brilliant.
& no worries about the rss feed-I knew when I switched domains it might take folks a minute to find me.
Looks great….they don’t shift around in an annoying way?
Wow, I totally love how you layered these- such a good take on the spring 09 trend!
