We could speculate the general distrust of government, banks and the men in suits can trickle down to fashion…
Gosh, yesterday was about snoozing today, Monday aversion… perhaps the bright side of the horror show going on in the economy is the embracement of casual couture. We could speculate the general distrust of government, banks and the men in suits can trickle down to fashion… but that really remains to be seen. Well… if you’ve ever worked in the Bay Area… it’s pretty casual there, and they seem to be getting interesting things done.
New York based I Dont Like Mondays is a lovely little avant garde online boutique with couture tees, and sweet flannel ruffle minidresses (why have I not seen this before). They’ve even got the coveted Brian Lichtenberg for Alex & Chloe necklaces, the geometric ones I really want to get my hands on.

I don’t know if you put the prices on those or if they were on the pictures already but I love that they are there.
And I love that hooded crop top.
That whole train-wreck-economy thing is part of why I’ve been trying not to buy every little thing that catches my fancy…but that little plaid dress is so adorable! Surely ruffles like that are worth a little irresponsible behavior…
i’m in love with the flannel dresses - want to offer them! didn’t know “i don’t like mondays” before your post - thank you
