I am happy today, you know, I’m really at a loss of words right now about the election. I feel like so much has already been said. Really, I feel like I just woke up from a nightmare… as an American abroad, the Bush Administration has made some very uncomfortable moments… and I’m happy today, just because after 8 years, I can finally be proud of my country again.
In celebration, I’ve been wearing these colorful socks.. though I’ve never been one for socks… it’s just that it’s the beginning of autumn and my feet are already cold. Unfortunately, through my lack of foresight, over the summer, I cut up all my socks (that already had holes in them) I had nothing to keep my feet warm. Luckily, Happy Socks came to the rescue… determined to rule the world of fashion socks, Swedish sock label, provides us with colorful socks to cheer us up on the soggiest of days. I really liked the block colors, the stripey toes, they were cozy, yet thin enough to wear with heels.

I am so tickled to see that the good vibes are going around- and being expressed in our fashion sense today! I got up and just HAD to put on a yellow dress, pink and red striped sweater, and pink tights with blue polka dots. Out of control! But I said to myself, my outfit should celebrate this amazing day! Happy happy joy joy! LOVE your socks… so easy to get me with cool socks, they are my weakness! (:
I love socks! I love Obama too!
I love the socks and how you’re paired them, especially in the first photo. I never thought about wearing shorter socks like that, but now you’re tempting me to go order some!
