Sometimes I’ll buy something and wonder if I’ll wear it. Then it will sit in my closet, for, like ever… stubborn me, not wanting to part with it, even if I wore it once in 2007. I should wear it, or get rid of it. I’ll think to myself. My closet is overflowing, and I can’t recall shopping that much last year.
Two years ago, I purchased this Naik Fur cotton jersey sculptural top. I love it. I’ll put it on every couple of months, but I’ll never wear it. Two years ago, I also purchased this white skirt (which I’m wearing inside out). I wore the skirt quite a bit, part of my white obsession. But the top, it just sat in my closet, moping, taunting me as I should be able to wear this! Finally I got a long sleeve tee a couple of days ago, and for some reason the tee transformed the piece. So now I’m back again, with my white obsession. Really, as a chronic coffee spiller, you’d think I’d pick a more suitable color to my clumsy lifestyle.

I have a black sequin La Petite Salope bustier that I bought at a sample sale 2 years ago and never wore that is taunting me like crazy!

I commend you for wearing all white, but looking absolutely fabulous in it. For some reason, I don’t feel like I can pull off the all-white look. I even have this thing about white shoes, pants, & purses. I just don’t do them. But YOU, my dear, look amazing. & you give me hope. ;]

That top is FANTASTIC! It reminds me of a dress I have …but never wear.I think my “this old things” are those that I love but just don’t gel with my over all aesthetic.
I have the perfect thing i think.. I wore it at one of my shows not long ago, but I haven’t been able to understand why i did, or why i bought it.
oh there are so many, which I can wear, but don’t. There are things I can wear, but cannot.

I adore the chic, crisp white pieces, but I suffer from a similar clumsiness that prevents me from ever sporting all white myself.
I think that outfit above is absolutely amazing. You can make anything look great.
And, I just want to add that these posts inspire me to fish out the things i never wear and wear them.
