‘Despite what they say about us, Zurich most definitely is not that bad’
Where I come from, folk has no connection with tradition. You never see San Franciscans wearing gold rush attire. Yeah, yeah, Levi Strauss invented denim for the 49′er gold miners… so in that respect jeans are my regional attire, gosh, and I don’t even wear them that often. Meh, how boring.
Playlust, my favorite Helvetian along with her friend Ron combed the streets to create the Zurich Look Book, a collection of latest trends, ‘Despite what they say about us, Zurich most definitely is not that bad’ Although I have no idea how bad they say Swiss fashion is ( I never heard anything) I did have a nice time looking at the various trends they’ve captured, my favorite being Disco Country. The mixture of Heidi-chic and well, roller skates, my two childhood favorites.
Bow & Bandits
Elsewhere in Alpine fashion news, Salzburg (Austria) based Bows & Bandits sources vintage Austrian fashion, much of which traditional to the region… puffed sleeves, and beautiful floral patterns, they like to mix it up with a very girly rock-chic. The perfect attire for popping Mozart Kugeln any day of the week.

Haha! So that dirndl I just bought ISN’T as outlandish as I thought. Or is it? Regardless, I’ll be looking to Bows & Bandits for great ways to style it.
My favorite is the blue shirt-dress and black tights with the… what is that, a cow bag?!
Yes! I love it! A Swiss cow too…!
The blue shirt is called: Edelweisshemd.. it’s very cuddlesome to wear…
