Light Vision

by jennine on July 16, 2009

Two days in a row, San Francisco boutiques… I must be homesick! It’s strange how I can tell if an online boutique is based in SF by the clothes they carry, well, that and the local SF designers, like RosenMunns, Cristalette, Feather Witch to name a few (and that I’ve covered before). Oh wait, maybe I’m not so intuitive after all! So much for that moment of fleeting intelligence.

Light Vision is a site dedicated to selling wares from up and coming designers and handmade goods. Kind of like a very well-edited Etsy of sorts. I quite like the selection, as well as the clean design of the site making it easy to browse around.

My favorites in the shop are the Ambit Pouf Hat $68, Wreck ‘n Sew rust bikini $80, and the Octopi window dress $284 (check out the detail on that one)

Do you find you gravitate towards boutiques from your home town? I would like to know…

It might make some interesting thoughts on global fashion…

Aiyee- I was going to do a post on Light Vision. You always beat me to the punch ;) I think I gravitate towards stores in LA because I’m an LA girl at heart, stuck in New York City, which, if you think about it, isn’t a bad place to be stuck if you’re into the fashion…;)

Yay San Francisco boutiques! I just moved to the bay area from NY so I am excited that you are also based in San Fran…I can’t wait to learn about fashion in the bay! I am from Portland Oregon so I love to support any of their boutiques.

Yes! I love the kooky SF aesthetic, especially when it involves vintage/reworked vintage and otherwise eco-friendly fashions.

And how adorable is that pouf hat!
