All Wrapped Up in Ohne Titel SS10

Ohne Titel  (meaning ‘untitled’ in German) very well could have titled this SS09 collection… personally, I would have picked ‘awesome’ you know, with my extensive vocabulary, but they pick something more sophisticated.  The show in Chelsea had almost everybody I’ve ever wanted to see in fashion on the guest list. The crowd was very chic and progressive, and dressed amazingly. Personally, I felt a little out of place in my messy hair, 5 year old dress, and flea market everything else, and shaky from lack of food and sleep, but it was one of those moments, when I realized, wow, we’re in an amazing world…. even then check-in lady had amazing shoes…

The Ohne Titel’s SS09 collection, inspired by ancient Egypt, they’ve come up with a very futuristic collection which I want right now. Though they aren’t the only ones who went the Egyptian route recently, Iris Van Herpen played around with the mummy concept, each came up a with similar yet personal approach. If this is any indication, expect to get wrapped up in the next few months.
