I’ve been bad… I haven’t been showing you the clothes I wear ALL THE TIME. The clothes I wear repeatedly throughout the week, and don’t show them to you because I think you think you’ve seen it all before. The clothes that always make it back into the laundry bin, the clothes that get first wear the day after laundry day. I don’t know why it is the clothes I always wear don’t get the most attention on this blog. It’s like not telling the ones closest to how much they matter.
Since I’ve done a barter with SPUN organic clothing a month back, and to tell the truth, I’ve practically been living in the pieced got on my end of the exchange, the dress worn here, the boatneck top, and well, a few tanks,. They’re not statement pieces, but that’s not what they are about… they are basics that hold my wardrobe together… the most important part! Here I’m wearing the cowl neck dress that has just the right amount of stretch, just the right length I can just about wear it with anything. As the temperatures drop, I’ve been more an more prone to layering, which is where this dress really shines.

yeah, I have a wardrobe full of clothes yet i still have the same few things that I wear constantly! they aren’t the most glamorous things but they are the most comfy, cosy versatile pieces. Amazing layers, Jennine! One of the things I love about fall and winter dressing is that it gives us the opportunity to really pile on the layers - play with texture, proportion, bulk, and all those things that our summer frocks and sandals don’t even dip into.
