I Prefer Chunky…Sweaters

Chunky Sweater

Sweaters… I prefer chunky sweaters, when it comes to peanut butter, it’s smooth all the way. Just in case you were wondering. Yesterday, I showed you a wool shirt found in the men’s section, though that wasn’t the only find… here I found the perfect candidate for my upside down sweater obsession (don’t think I’m about to let that go yet) a super thick and soft wool sweater from Ecuador. I particularly liked the print, zigzags, animals, geometric delights with wooden buttons. However, if worn like it’s supposed to, it’s massive and just not fitted for someone my size. Worn upside down transforms it making a frumpy cardigan to a chunky cropped sweater, particularly great if you have some high waisted skirts or trousers (in my case corset waist jeans).

This is probably the warmest sweater, aside from Rocky’s Irish cable knit sweater, which I also wear upside down.

I’m loving the print on that sweater. I also prefer chunky sweaters as well, if I’m going to wear a sweater. You’ve got some awesome thrift finds!

I really can’t believe how you wear sweaters upside down and it works perfectly. I’m going to try to do it again. Seriously, I think I have spatial difficulties!

That is a pretty great chunky sweater. Since I have bigger hips I am usually about being more fitted on top.

Someday I’ll be brave enough to try an upside down sweater like you, Jennine. Every time you do it, I am just in awe - so simple, but so striking!

I love big chunky sweaters, especially ones with ethnic designs woven into them. There’s something very bohemian about yours yet it’s perfect for the city too. Good find!
