Shoe d’Jour : Clicking my heels for Red Mary Janes

by jennine on October 26, 2009

red vintage shoes

Yesterday I arrived in New York City, and had a lovely afternoon at with Pamela from Market Publique…of course you know I love her! While at her studio, she noted that she had a pair of red (my favorite color) vintage Mary Janes… and well, I couldn’t resist. To tell the truth, I’ve been looking for a pair of red shoes that aren’t crazy red shoes for ages. And these little cuties, held up today at the Century 21 campaign shoot, which I’ll have more for you about that one, that store is over the top!

More about that soon….

In other news Shopbop’s blog Shoptalk featured me today in their new blogger series “Favorite Bloggers” be sure to stop by!

Can’t wait to hear more about the shoot. I have always been a huge fan of your photography. You are one of the few who can post great content and gorgeous photos at the same time. And as someone who can barley point and click, I am in awe.

Congrats on the Shopbop recognition, it is well deserved!

Those are very sweet. I love the way the straps veer back toward . . . the back.

fabulous red shoes! you are so right, it is so difficult to find red shoes that do not look crazy. either the color is off or the style is nuts. looks like you scored!

OMG! I found an identical pair but in black at a thrift store for $25! It’s so cute but I have no idea what would go well with it. :( Any thoughts? :)

They’re gorgeous! I think they might be the perfect pair of everyday red shoes - can’t wait to see them in an outfit!

I’m completely in love with this shoes. They are perfect, I’ve been looking for a pair of Mary Janes for ages and has been so hard. But I do have red sandals/shoes (it’s hard to know what they are) that bright up any boring black/grey outfit.
