This week’s Elle roundup, there’s a lot of then and now…as style is cyclical, it’s fun to take a look back to see how we’ve come full circle. Kate Lanphear talks about her style evolution, we visit punk hairstyles from yesterday and how I never get bored of the women of Mad Men! I still need to see Season 3! As someone who wears red lipstick I particularly enjoyed the 21 days of red lipstick where they reviewed 21 different reds! It’s hard to find a good red lipstick that stays put through nuclear holocaust! Finally I also loved the home hair-color tips… as it’s getting to the point where I need to color…yet having a hard time going to the salon to ask them to dye my hair brown (it’s not a hard color!).

I just bought myself MAC lipstick “Girl about town” and I’m telling you it lasts even french kissing. So I imagine a nuclear holocaust wouldn’t be a big thing.
I’ve got the print issue that covers some of these topics, but a visit to the site is on my list.
