Buying my new clogs introduced a whole new dilemma… What to wear with them? I converted to skinny jeans back in ’07 and luckily hung on to these randomly simple Juicy jeans I got a a clothing swap four years ago.. So who knows how old these are… But dang are they comfortable, and they seem to work with the clogs…
PS. In case you’re wondering why this post is so short…I’m doing some experimenting on mobile blogging. This was posted from my iPhone. Almost… If you have any tips, I’d love to hear it! xox

I’m loving the platform clog trend. This combo works perfectly for every day glam!

love it! just posted about something similar recently…but not with cute clogs! I finally came to terms with the idea of the clog a few days ago (late I know…) but yours are wonderful! I love the floral pattern..Yay for the return of comfortable pants!
i think it’s still early, on the outside of the bloggosphere, it seems like clogs haven’t hit the streets yet.
Nice and sweet. I have one pair of bootcuts for, lol, boots and my fave clynky Doc Martens. But oh skinny tights forever I hope.

oh yeah, i think they’ll both have their place, it’s just been years and years since i wore boot cut jeans!
Yes! Love these. My favorite bootcuts are a pair of Citizens that have sort of a trouser edge. They would be 80 times better if they were high-waisted, but… oh well!

I think the boot cut is, if not returning, is certainly making an occasional appearance. I just bought a pair - my first in forever. They’re not extreme, they belong to jeans that are almost fitted through the thigh (though not quite). I’m wearing them with flats but then they aren’t long.

yeah, it certainly will make occasional appearances, these days there are so many styles, you could wear one thing one day and another thing the next…it’s great!
Honestly, I never thought about what type of pants to wear with clogs. Did skinny jeans look bad?

A tip: Download the free iPhone app called Dragon Dictation. You can actually verbally compose text, copy to the clipboard, then paste into a new post in your WP app. Dragon Dictation is not perfect, but it does very well when you dictate and include punctuation marks in your dictation. For example, to dictate “This is my new post!” you would say “this is my new post exclamation point.” It automatically capitalizes after end punctuation, which is awesome. Even if it’s not perfect, you can copy and paste and clean up text in WP.
It’s also brilliant for texting quickly, for example, in the car…I know, I know, a no-no…but a quick dictation/copy/paste is a hell of a lot safer, or for composing emails on your iPhone. As a former BlackBerry user, I appreciate the Web functionality of the iPhone, but the keyboard on my Bold spanks the iPhone on-screen keyboard any day.
Hope this little tip helps!
PS: I’m also trying Evernote, but don’t find it to be very user-friendly. You?

omg, this app! it’s crazy! i really have to learn how to use it better, because it really translates the randomest words! maybe i need to annunciate better? oh well!
evernote for the web i use, haven’t tried the iphone app, but i have a hard time using most apps…eek!
Those clogs are great Jennine! And I have a feeling bootcut jeans will be in again soon…fashion always comes around full circle
it certainly does!
I never liked the bootleg style on me. During the bootleg years, where there was nothing but that style, I only had one pair of jeans. For years and years!

Clogs and flared jeans go together like peanut butter and jelly.

I held onto a pair of bootcuts as well. Had a feeling they’d be back. Besides, it makes a change from skinny/straight jeans.

though i personally do not like the bootcut, i think it has a very flattering effect. especially when combined with high heels: looong legs

oh yes, i noticed this today, and particularly for petites (like us) the bootcut with a platform does make a girl look loooong.
I love the look with the clog! I enjoy a good bootcut to wear on occasion. In fact i just bought a high-waisted bootcut jean. But then again, good or bad, it’s always 1975 in my mind.

Ahhh. I was wondering what to pair with my clogs when I finally get around to wearing them. Great tip!

I agree! Bootcuts go best with those- and sometimes it’s best to revert back to whatever was trusty and comfy.

I wouldn’t even know where to begin to post from my Iphone. You did a fab job!
I’m happy to see the return of bootcut jeans. I agree with Fenke above: worn with heels, they can be really flattering. And I LOVE them with your floral clogs!
