Last night was Fashion’s Night Out, I went to meet some of the ladies at Fifth Avenue, to see the circus of activity, as for the previous two FNO’s I went to smaller events, and bypassed the crowds. Kind of like avoiding Times Square on NYE. It was great to see so many people get together excited about fashion, celebrities and everyone seemed to be in a joyous mood. I really loved the people watching… however with all the Fashion’s Night Out hub-a-bub, my favorite part ended up being having brownies with Wendy Brandes at Saks Fifth Avenue.
I can’t remember the last time someone gave me a heart full of chocolates. In fact, I don’t think anyone has ever done it. This pink heart full of chocolates made me really want one. One day…
Another of my favorite parts was going to the shoe department… It’s always my favorite though. Vyque ponders the curved heel.
And here are the ladies! Vyque, Jordana, Wendy and Christina.

Beautiful pictures! I left NY yesterday and was so sad to leave before FNO! However the 12 hrs of flying was worth he great IFB conference! Thanks again and hope to be able to lend some time for the next one! I can be your “West Coast” Correspondent! ha
How fun! I wish so much that I could’ve been there. My city did a version of FNO (Omaha, Nebraska). As you can imagine, it’s not the same at all.

I really regret not reenacting the Laverne and Shirley scene with the glove and the conveyor belt. Darn!

Thank you for these sweet glimpses! I think that’s how I’d like to participate in Fashion Week, too…more intimate celebrations with stylish acquaintances I’d like to know better — eating, shopping, and chatting, and of course, catching beautiful photos! I seem to remember that I did receive a small heart-shaped box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day from my parents one year when I was a child…I longed for one so. It was my favorite color, pink foil with a pink rose. I’d still happily accept one today, even from the drugstore, but the blush pink gilt box you show would be so much more charming!
