Are you excited for the Lanvin Hearts H&M collaboration? When word came out, I saw on twitter the excitement bubbling over, even I’m getting caught up in it a little. The other day, a friend mentioned she was going to hold off on shopping until the H&M & Lanvin collection came out. I’m not sure what to expect really, with designer collabs, my motto is see it in real life. Which, admittedly, I tend to wait until the crowds die down (and everything good is gone) so this time it’s not going to happen… tonight I’m going to get an up close look at the collection, so my hopes are high.
This morning H&M released The Show, a video preview of the collection. Fashion films can sometimes be on the pretentious side, but this one is playful and self aware. I love the references to women running into each other wearing the same dress, to using the collection to get you out of a fashion pinch. It’s fun and real… so count me in as one of the excited ones!

Video was pretty cool - but the collection… …well, I’m disappointed. Just party frocks - I would have loved some draped jumpsuits and elegantly cool dresses that transform from party to everyday wear. Jewelries are just trinkets and the shoes… …let’s just say that the bow adorned classic pump is not something I’m going for this autumn… …the green & print combination was pretty delicious, though.

yeah, i guess, i’ve gotten so casual lately that i was in need of something to spice things up. hopefully it’s not just party frocks…but i’ll see today!
what is the red dress/treadmill situation about? I thought they discontinued the B.I.B plus size line…
