Chunky Knits

by jennine on February 1, 2011

wool and the gang

As much as I hate to apologize for not posting as much.. I apologize, things have been nothing less than hectic with the planning of the Evolving Influence Conference. Which sold out over the weekend! Horray! Now it’s getting everything together, and most days I have puffy eyes, my hair is a mess and I’m lucky if my clothes match. So much for grace under pressure.

One of the pieces that I’ve been cozying up too especially on these super-freezing days it my new Wool and the Gang cropped sweater. It’s the best, keeping me so warm and the chunky knits are incredible. I can’t get over it. While my other sweaters are great, this one shows a little bit of skin here and there but still has the warming power to keep me from catching cold. So worth it.

Wearing: Wool and the Gang Sweater • Necklace courtesy of the lovely Norwegian Wood • Ring, low luv

The words “chunky” and “knits” get me every time. And this post certainly delivers. Thank you!

I’m so happy the conference is sold out (I live too far away to be attending - but I’ll be watching the livestream!) - it makes perfect sense because the program is just wow. You’re all going to have a blast!

I’m a big fan of your sweater too - I know exactly what you mean when you say it’s different from others but still keeps you warm. Would love to own such a sweater too!

GORGEOUS!! This is such a beautiful color on you and I adore the sweater….the pictures are fabulous, too!

I’m so sad I can’t make the conference. I just started working 3 days a week and that’s one of my days…I will surely regret picking that day…yuck!

I love that it shows just a hint of skin while still being warm and cozy. I love baggy, cozy things in the cold. Though I know I can’t complain about the chilly air in San Diego!

Very gorgeous photo madame. Oui.

Oh! I have something that’ll fix your puffy eyes: Preparation-H.

Really! If it works wonders on those who have air donuts, it can also work wonders to shrink the puffiness. In fact, I once recall Tawny Kitane asking her then-boyfriend David Coverdale how he was able to look great night after night wearing the bit of makeup he did wear-among other rock star activities-and Coverdale told her he used Preparation-H wipes while taking his makeup off. Kitane began doing the same soon after.

Try it! What could it hurt?

I ADORE that sweater! It’s fun and functional at the same time.

p.s. I’m super sad the Evolving Influence Conference is sold out. :( I knew I should have bought my tickets earlier, but I didn’t have the money for it then. I’m sure it will be a FAB event.

Knitted jumpers are so comfy! I prefer the longer ones though, that you can wear as a short dresses with a pair of leggings ans some high boots :)
