Two things I’ve been loving lately, pouches and boxy clutches. One thing I’ve been loving my whole life is whimsy. Charlotte Olympia has all three in spades. I was looking through some magazines and saw her mentioned and remembered I had these spider clutch photos in my hard drive. It was actually hard to photograph capturing both the lucite and the pouch in focus while having a blurred background (nerd!) which is probably why it didn’t post right away.
However, I do love the specialness the bag inside a bag, the velvet pouch with the spiderweb detailing. It’s scheduled to come out this fall, but right now the Pandora clutch is available, it has the same concept… however, I do love the spider one so much more, especially since her name is Charlotte, after my favorite spider. That’s some bag!

The spider clasp is an amazing detail and its very smart of them to put the bag inside the bag. I used to work at BCBG and they had a lucite bag that was intended to be see-through. We used to joke about not putting your tampons in there. To me, that was a bad example of when fashion doesn’t take practicality into account - this one does!
