Have you seen Portlandia? Oh my, I love that show, but mostly in retrospect…. like Napoleon Dynamite, at the time I thought it was a cool movie, but for years after I still say “Sweet” and “Idiot”… Portlandia has much the same effect on me, only now it’s “Cacao” and “Put a Bird on It.” Anyway, now I’m looking out for all things feathered. No not pigeons, bird tattoos, feather print , feather jewelry. You name it. I love the sentiment adding something we’ve adorned ourselves with for centuries, like bird feathers never gets old. Just like comedy snippets from nerds on TV.

I thought the feather hair trend was stupid until i saw it in real life, and it actually looks really pretty. Feathers are so romantic and earthy, and feather tattoos are so delicate, I love them.
I love the feather hair extension trend! I had three in my hair my hairdresser put in. I also went to a fly fishing shop and purchased several inexpensive ones to make some DIY hair clips. ♥
