It’s official, I’m obsessed with animal prints. Living in New York City, I don’t get to see a lot of animals aside from pigeons, and in this habitat, one needs to walk… a lot. My husband had been nagging me to get a pair of shoes that I can “walk in” not just walk, but reeeeally walk. Walk for miles and miles. I have a few pairs of flats, but wanted a pair of flat booties. When I saw this pair of Pencey Melun Booties had gone on sale half off, I knew they were meant to be mine. These are perfect for days like a casual Friday, comfortable, yet dressed up and fun. Today I took my comfy casual routine and dressed it up with J Brand colored jeans and a silk button down. Everything here is in it’s classic form, but the change in colors makes it current… so I guess when it comes to finding your style it boils down to finding pieces you love and works with you, then looking for that one element that makes it so right, right now.

Love the hair! And the shoes are adorbs. I hate the fact that we still have to have functional shoes in NY. All of us fashion mavens should have a special complimentary car service so we can still wear our foot jewelry.

Those booties are cuties (corny line of the day) ha ha. I’ve always liked that necklace… special piece. The colored denim is just the cherry on top for me. Nice flats are hard to find. I do however always try to keep an average pair in my bag when I have heels on.
