Layering Skirts: Mini to Maxi for a Rainy Day

Mini skirts. They’re sexy, fun, and come in handy quite a lot. Maxi skirts. They’re romantic, comfortable, and fun on breezy days. If you’re worried about looking frumpy there are loads of sheer maxi skirts, and when there is sheer there is opportunity to layer. I’ve been seeing a lot of sheer skirts with bicycle shorts underneath, hot pants and well, you name it. But one of the things I’ve been wanting to do is layer a long sheer skirt with a mini OVER it. I have this Zara skirt that’s a wee bit short to wear without tights, and being it’s too humid and hot out tights are absolutely out of the question.

The layering has added a whole new realm of possibilities when it comes to my skirt collection, perhaps you’ll be seeing more mixing and matching!
